Pirates opened for the summer of 2005 and, although the bar has been extensively refurbished, it retains much of the character of the older establishment. The building, which has been in the Banos family for more than one hundred years, is an inspired mix of old and new and, even though you can see the features of the house it once was, it really has a contemporary twist.

The Bar is run by various members of the family whose only interests are to make your stay in Roda a memorable one. There is nowhere in the village quite like Pirates Bar.
